A Broadway pianist was arrested for making online works for minor children.
Justin Brown, 26, Rehearsal Musician for Broadway Boxing Success Dear Evan Hansen and King Kong, is accused in Queens Criminal Court of trying to trick a 14-year-old boy into having sex.

Brown contacted an undercover police officer online on September 2: “Hello,” he wrote, after a criminal complaint.

“Hey, how old are you?” Answered the policeman. “25 years old, how old are you?” Answered Brown.

When the police responded that he was 14 years old, Brown sent a text message: “Haha, nice.” There were sexual conversations in which Brown allegedly sent the undercover officer a photo of his penis and a video. Eventually, the officer and Brown organized a meeting at a commercial place in Queens, where Brown was received by the police. Brown had a bottle of lube and packages of condoms in his backpack, and confessed to making an appointment with the “14-year-old boy,” the authorities said.

“The accused, who was repeatedly told that the person he was talking to was a minor child, sued his” young man, “said Queens acting attorney John M. Ryan in a statement.

Ryan added that the case should be “a warning to parents that they must at all times closely monitor the online activities of their children, especially in social media applications.” Brown was charged with attempting to use a child during sexual portrayal, attempted sexual intercourse, attempting to disseminate indecent material to minors, and attempting to undermine a child’s well-being.

Reading the charges on Friday at the Queens Criminal Court, he was sentenced to a $ 20,000 bail. He will be sentenced to seven years in prison if found guilty
