Patrick Mahomes’ girlfriend said security should move her after the terrible treatment of Patriots fans

The Kansas City Chiefs traveled to New England last weekend for Sunday’s rematch of the game for the AFC title and left Gillette Stadium with a massive 23-16 victory.

The game was a frustrating experience for New England fans who booed the home team off the field at halftime and witnessed some fabulous compensation. But that doesn’t excuse the behavior that Patrick Mahomes’ girlfriend, Brittany Matthews, described in Foxborough.

Matthews and Mahomes’ brother, Jackson, were sitting together at Gillette Stadium, and, according to Matthews, Patriots fans recognized them immediately when they sat down, and their mission was to harass them during the game. This was described on Twitter (NSFW language).

Finally, fans got angry because Matthews got up during the game, and someone threatened to call Matthews for security.

As the game developed, the apparent harassment forced security to react and move Matthews to a “safe place.”

Matthews wrote:

Update: Gillette security cane (sic) and got us said we have cameras everywhere, and we have seen you getting harassed, so we are gonna move you to a safe section!
