Fox News announced that it was not planning to book Michael Knowles after calling 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg “mentally ill” on the channel on Monday night.
Knowles, who presents The Michael Knowles Show for the Daily Wire, has appeared on Fox News for a segment on climate change and Thunberg activism. Chris Hahn, the former assistant to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, accompanied him on the show. He made an exception to the characterization of Knowles by the teenager.
Fox News no longer intends to put Knowles on the network, confirmed a news cable channel spokesman at the Washington Examiner after the Hollywood Reporter’s first report.
