Earthquake of magnitude 4.0 hits Port Hueneme


A preliminary earthquake of magnitude 4.0 struck Port Hueneme on Thursday morning, according to the US Geological Survey. UU.

The epicenter of the 2:13 earthquake was located almost 25 km south of Port Hueneme, the USGS said. Its depth was measured at 6.2 miles.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries or damages.

Tarzana resident Lynn Perez said the tremor woke her.

The people of West Hollywood, South Gate, and Marina del Rey said it seemed like a quick jolt.
