A magnitude 3.7 earthquake shook near the Missouri-Arkansas border

GASSVILLE, Arkansas (KFVS) – A magnitude 3.7 earthquake rocked parts of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas on Thursday, September 12th.

According to the USGS, the earthquake occurred at 1:42. and concentrated near Gassville, Arkansas, around the Missouri border.

People from all the Ozarks informed the USGS that they could feel the earthquake, including in areas north of Springfield, Missouri, east of West Plains, Missouri, and near Mountain Home (Ark).
